Actually probably I will be later. My roommate got me something that I think called itself a pale wheat ale. Don’t remember the actual name. So hoppy water is my guess, but we’ll see.

Had a couple of these whilst enjoying a BBQ in the park this evening. I wanted to find that new Sierra Nevada variation that I posted about yesterday, but the store I stopped at tonight didn’t have any either. 82 degrees in STL today, so I’m out soaking up the sun before winter formally hits. Would’ve had another one or two, but I have to be at work at 0730 tomorrow and Sunday.

As usual, my drunken friend wanted a few more drinks and wanted to go out and shoot some pool after the BBQ. He’s a nice enough guy, but it’s not a lot of fun when he’s trashed and slurring his speech, incapable of carrying on a conversation. When he gets like that I’d rather just drop him at his home and resume my evening solo. He says he’s cut down on his drinking, now only getting smashed once a week, although I doubt that this is the truth. I figure his liver isn’t long for this world. Moderation folks, moderation.
